When her daughter Hana suffered devastating complications after surgery to remove a life-threatening brain tumour, Naomi Cook, a Registered Nurse declared war and fought to keep her daughter alive.

Hana was gaining a kilo a week and, within months, Naomi's little girl had become morbidly obese and due to her weight, confined to a wheelchair. From being an empowered nurse, Naomi found herself a disempowered consumer of the healthcare system. When it came to tackling her daughter's untreatable condition Naomi had to confront the closed minds and rigid paradigms of the medical profession. She was forced to pioneer her own medical world firsts and undertake a journey that took her around the world.

The fight to heal Hana continued until Naomi experienced a spontaneous awakening: She discovered the truth behind her quest to heal her daughter, experienced the power of love and finally found the miracle she had wanted for so long.
